It’s quite a big deal to be a part of a prestigious film festival jury. Fan Bingbing’s appointment as a juror in this year’s Cannes Film Festival is a nice nod to her credibility as an artist and further strengthens her status as C-entertainment royalty.
Popular artist @何平Apple who is known as a Yang Yang lookalike on weibo is an exceptionally talented painter (and I think he does resemble the actor in some angles)! He shared photos of his recent artwork yesterday, a painting of Kris Wu and Kendall Jenner, which immediately caught my attention. So, I scrolled through his albums out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised to find his paintings of other celebrities (but interestingly, he’s never done a portrait of Yang Yang lol). Kris Wu’s team has confirmed that the actor will be in Wong Karwai’s upcoming movie “Blossoms” based on Jin Yucheng’s award-winning novel of the same name.
