Popular artist @何平Apple who is known as a Yang Yang lookalike on weibo is an exceptionally talented painter (and I think he does resemble the actor in some angles)! He shared photos of his recent artwork yesterday, a painting of Kris Wu and Kendall Jenner, which immediately caught my attention. So, I scrolled through his albums out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised to find his paintings of other celebrities (but interestingly, he’s never done a portrait of Yang Yang lol). Take a look at them below!
A hot topic has come up on Weibo after the controversial paparazzi Zhuo Wei’s constant attempts at “exposing” celebrities (to which has received several responses and denials from the celebrities).
A screenshot of a question was posted on Weibo asking the hypothetical question: what if paparazzi stalked officials instead of celebrities? Continue reading “[Weibo Viral] What if paparazzi stopped exposing celebrities and exposed corrupt officials instead?”
I was saving photos of Cheney Chen from yesterday’s show when I came across an article about the luxury Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana’s controversial photo campaign in China, which I thought would be interesting to share, so I am combining the two piece of news into one post.
First off, actor Cheney Chen was personally invited by Domenico Dolce to close for the Dolce & Gabbana 2017 fashion show in Beijing yesterday. He looked incredibly handsome and reminded me of his character Zhou Chongguang from the Tiny Times movies. You can see more pictures below the cut!
But, four days prior to the successful show, Dolce & Gabbana released a series of photos of their models in the city of Beijing with locals included in the shots, and uploaded them onto their official Instagram account.
Recent airport photos of Chen Kun became a hot topic on Weibo, garnering 5,258 shares, 6,538 comments, and 38,308 likes. C-netizens were admiring his handsome bare face and youthful glow. Here are some of the comments from c-netizens translated by Two C-ent. I can’t say I disagree.
The topic of “good boyfriends” appeared on weibo this week and soon, pictures of the birthday gifts one girl received from her boyfriend several years ago became a topic of discussion again. For her 19th birthday her boyfriend gave her 19 gifts, to make up for all the birthdays he had missed before they met. There were things such as a pacifier, bottles of milk, lollipops, a pencil case, chocolates, a stuffed animal, lipstick, sanitary napkins, high heels, a tiara, and etc. Each item came with a little sticky note explaining why he was gifting her that item. The post garnered 10,883 shares, 9,720 comments, and 64,195 likes! Some people thought it was sweet, while others felt the boyfriend could have put in more effort. Look below to read what C-netizens have to say!

Yvonne Pastry Studio created several impressive Three Live Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (三生三世十里桃花) themed cakes that are so incredibly pretty, I don’t think anyone will have the heart to eat them! The cakes are replicas of Mo Yuan’s Kunlun Xu, Jun Ji Mountain where Ye Hua met Susu, and Zhe Yan’s famous peach blossom forest. You can even find figures of Si Yin, Su Su, Bai Qian, Ye Hua, and a little black snake in the beautiful scenery!
After watching the lovely video (which I have uploaded to our YouTube channel), I decided to look up Eternal Love desserts on weibo and it turns out, many other drama fans have been making these beautiful cakes as well! So, I gathered them all for this post. Look below for pretty pictures!
The phrase “girls who are taller than 170cm” ranked no.4 yesterday on weibo’s hot topic list. This happened after a weibo account asked the question: “Girls, how does it feel to be taller than 170cm?” and shared some quotes within the post, supposedly from tall girls. This sparked the discussion and soon many people began talking about their own heights. The post garnered 5,584 shares, 10,133 comments, and 7,314 likes within a few hours.
Look below to see if you agree with c-netz opinions! How tall are you? Do you wish you can be taller or shorter? I’m 172cm and I love my height! lol, although I do admit, the “do you play basketball” question was very annoying when I was growing up since I wasn’t athletic at all. I was lucky if I didn’t get hit by a ball when I walked through the gym 😆
