Following last week’s round-up of Riley Wang Yilun’s twitter replies to fans, I am back with more! In case you don’t know, Riley is a member of Taiwanese boy band SpeXial and was recently in the addicting web-drama Long for You (我与你的光年距离). He’s currently busy filming for his next project, but that doesn’t stop him from interacting with fans. A few days ago, he even created a private chat with 1,000 lucky fans on weibo! If you weren’t quick enough to make it into the chat room, that’s okay you can continue to stalk Riley’s twitter account instead! And I’m happy to say that my love for Li Zhe in Long For You is not in vain as Riley actually noticed my tweet last night and quoted it with a compliment for himself: ‘kawaii~’ Yes, he is cute indeed. Reading his reponses always give me a good laugh!

The topic of “good boyfriends” appeared on weibo this week and soon, pictures of the birthday gifts one girl received from her boyfriend several years ago became a topic of discussion again. For her 19th birthday her boyfriend gave her 19 gifts, to make up for all the birthdays he had missed before they met. There were things such as a pacifier, bottles of milk, lollipops, a pencil case, chocolates, a stuffed animal, lipstick, sanitary napkins, high heels, a tiara, and etc. Each item came with a little sticky note explaining why he was gifting her that item. The post garnered 10,883 shares, 9,720 comments, and 64,195 likes! Some people thought it was sweet, while others felt the boyfriend could have put in more effort. Look below to read what C-netizens have to say!

Riley Wang Yilun, one of the male leads of the web-drama Long for You 我与你的光年距离 (which I am diligently recapping) is known to be playful and loves to joke around with his fans on social media. Today a fan mentioned on twitter that she would take a cardboard cutout of Riley to prom if she gets 10 billion likes (I think she should try this on weibo where Wang Yilun has much more fans and followers lol) and the 21-year-old Chinese Canadian singer/actor replied, “Ok I wanna go lets do it” 😛
Also, a quick look through Riley’s twitter account shows that he is always replying to fans when he’s free (he’s practically begging you to ask him questions based on his pinned tweet). So, if you have anything to say to the charming young man, just tweet it! It’s pretty likely that you’ll hear back from him! Follow him on twitter, weibo, and instagram now!

A popular Weibo account shared a series of funny GIFs of people (and animals) embarrassing themselves and recovering using interesting methods. Click below to have a laugh!

The phrase “girls who are taller than 170cm” ranked no.4 yesterday on weibo’s hot topic list. This happened after a weibo account asked the question: “Girls, how does it feel to be taller than 170cm?” and shared some quotes within the post, supposedly from tall girls. This sparked the discussion and soon many people began talking about their own heights. The post garnered 5,584 shares, 10,133 comments, and 7,314 likes within a few hours.
Look below to see if you agree with c-netz opinions! How tall are you? Do you wish you can be taller or shorter? I’m 172cm and I love my height! lol, although I do admit, the “do you play basketball” question was very annoying when I was growing up since I wasn’t athletic at all. I was lucky if I didn’t get hit by a ball when I walked through the gym 😆

A woman in Anhui province called the fire department after her cat fell into a vent. Worried that they wouldn’t come save her pet, a funny exchange occurred over the phone where she asked if they would save humans. The emergency call handler answered yes, they most definitely rescue people! Thus, the woman told them she will crawl into the vent, and ask that they please come save both the cat and herself. The firefighter laughed and told her they’ll be coming immediately. After watching the video, C-netz opinions are divided and they voiced their thoughts under the weibo post! Look below to see what they have to say!
Personally, I can understand where both sides are coming from. If the woman truly did what she said, she would only cause more problems for the rescue team and put herself at risk. But, as a dog owner myself I would be scared and anxious if something like that ever happened to my baby, and would also hope that someone can help me. It’s a tough situation to be in 🙁
